This however hasnt solved the main problem which is that IT N. I have tried playing around with the neutral adjustment screw including setting it so it goes into third with no latteral movement. So, I'll do some more thinking on this I gues. Got a B&M quickshift at inters to fit on my G60 box, but ever since ive had it its been playing up. It just requires that you program the software and fit a sensor - nothing more. HRC loom gives you possibility for traction control. It would easily push 185 I believe, and it would be a very capable bike still. And if it goes down the drain later, I could always just fit a standard engine and move the upgraded valvetrain over. The CBR has everything and I don't have to spend a penny on it after delivery regarding upgrades. The CBR is like a 600 with torque when it's lightened up for track use. I'm considering the BMW because of the electric gadgets and specially the traction control, but it also requires more adjustment to ride the BMW compared to the CBR. Suspension is done, wheels, exhaust and anything else on the bike?- well, I actually don't know. He is riding at the top of our local Rookie 1000 series and it is fast for a stocker. The BMW and the guy owning it - well, I don't know him that well and I can't have a go at it before late august which is almost too late in the season for me to wait for. I know the guy who has it and it it is a really expensive build (50K+).Ĭrank is balanced and can handle 14K rev limit, but has it set on 13K for engine longivity. All brembo, HRC, K-Tec, Carbon, Exhaust, wheels etc etc. All and every performance upgrade you can think of is on this bike. I can live with that, since I have no real pleasure of street riding anymore after the track time has initiated. The bike is like 30K $ at the moment, and by buying a track bike, I don't have to pay reg.fee but I then can't use on the street. I'm selling it because of the registration fee here in Denmark. They would both cost around the same +/- 2000$ which is so small an amount that it doesn't matter. This particular bike is standard apart from an exhaust and the Alpha Tech parts to the ECU. The BMW is strong from factory and it performs great with stock power. Between seasons the engine should most likely be opened. The engine however is tuned fairly much, but should be able to run a complete season at the time without anything but oil changes (6-10 track trips of 1-3 days each). The Fireblade is nuts, but handles like a dream and the suspension is what I would put on a new bike myself. Quick gas and all other bits and pieces that ends on a bikeīoth bikes are great and very fast. Both machines are on the hands of some of the other guys riding the same track series as me and have no gearbox problems.Įngine blue printed and everything balanced/lightened I'm selling my 06 track bike with all supporting mods in favor of a '10 blade or a '10 S1000RR. This questions have been brought up before, but I need to set up a new discussion to answer my specific need, since I am questioning my own reasoning.

This makes me think that they must have done some overdubs or worked some other studio magic on that version - which isn't unlikely. For some reason they don't sound the same to me though, I prefer the version on Without A Net. The same version appears on the limited edition Terrapin Station release which contains the whole show from 3-15-90. (Above) 10-25-80 Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY Photo by Peter Simon It's got that something extra (Jerry's really into it) that makes the difference between mediocre and spectacular in Grateful Dead songs. It's an incredibly passionate and well performed version of the song that I could listen to over and over (and I have). The definitive version (in my opinion) appears on Without a NetĪnd was recorded at the Cap Centre in Maryland on 3-15-90. It was released on Go To Heaven and is one of that albums few saving graces as far I'm concerned. After extensive listening I've got to say my two favorite periods for this song are '81 and '90. I tend to prefer the way it was performed in the post coma era (after Jerry's near death experience in '86) the best - although the mellow, hypnotic groove with which the song was originally performed was pretty sweet too. It was never paired with any other tunes but it did evolve over the years gaining energy and emotional power as it became more polished. It's not a song well suited to improvisation and was mainly performed in the first set. It debuted in concert in 1979 and was played 272 times appearing regularly until the end in '95. This is my first time using metal boxes for in wall wiring, so forgive the stupid ing handy boxes/surface mount boxes I've got plenty of experience with but in wall/flush/sheetrocked boxes this is a first for me. But essentially, the extent of the strategy in Front Mission Alternative lies in designating waypoints in a logical fashion. The game does become more complex once you're controlling two or three platoons simultaneously, in which case you need to rapidly switch views between them and make sure they're all doing well. Worse yet, you must commit to one of these offense/defense designations across the entire platoon and can't issue orders to individual WAWs. You have no control over your WAWs at all, other from defining either an offensive or a defensive style of attack. Then they start shooting until the enemy stops moving. Your WAWs will march toward their targets, getting stuck against each other and against any walls that get in their way, until they get in range of the enemy. Then you just sit back and enjoy the show. The first few missions are stupidly easy you push the start button to pause the game and bring up an overhead map and tell the blue dot (your platoon) to move to the red dots (the bad guys). What's most disconcerting about Front Mission Alternative is its gameplay, or how little of it there is. Those audio effects are somewhat hampered by Front Mission Alternative's so-called alternative soundtrack, which is basically a bunch of dizzying techno that doesn't suit the onscreen grandeur. The hollow pop-popping of open-air automatic gunfire, the distant screams of soldiers, loud explosions, and realistic ambient sound effects all make Front Mission Alternative sound alarmingly real. Each massive WAW footstep is accented by a resounding and satisfying thud. Its sound effects stand up to its top-notch graphics perfectly. And with little or no polygonal clipping to be found, not only does Front Mission Alternative look good, but it looks authentic. All the while Front Mission Alternative's frame rate, even with close to a dozen 3D objects moving onscreen, remains consistently smooth. You can override the camera with the control pad, or lock it in position behind your platoon, or even switch to a keen first-person view - complete with garbled scrolling status reports for that hi-tech cockpit ambiance. The camera will occasionally follow your WAW's missiles to their targets, jump to the enemy's point of view, and more. There's even a tasteful lens focus effect, where background objects appear slightly blurred to emphasize what's happening in front. A sweeping, cinematic camera angle keeps things interesting and will pan around and focus on where the action is. And you'll certainly crack a smile when your WAWs trample parked cars in the big city. You can almost feel the sweltering heat in the desert combat zones. The scenery in the game is equally attractive: The sun occasionally peeks through the dense canopy of trees as tropical birds flutter about in lush African jungles. The WAWs (or giant robots, short for Wandrung Wagen) under your command travel in platoons of three, and they look immense in stature as they lumber across the battlefield in close formation. Good thing Front Mission Alternative looks so good, since you'll be watching it more than playing it. The result is visually and sonically stunning but may leave the hard-core strategist feeling shortchanged. But this latest installment takes the theme and premise of the series and applies it to a simpler, more cinematic framework. Front Mission, which originated back in the Famicom days, is a tactical turn-based strategy series set in the near future where war is waged in giant bipedal robots. If you know what Squaresoft's Front Mission series is all about, you'll have a good chance at guessing just what kind of game Front Mission Alternative turned out to be. Unfortunately, the documentation of which feature was added when is super poor. Have a look at styles.xml and themes.xml. AlertDDialogThemes support more familiar and more powerful attributes like windowBackground, windowTitleStyle etc. This works for me in Android 2.2: Android versions also have android:progressLayout and android:horizontalProgressLayout attributes for the AlertDialog style.Īlso, in newer Android versions, it is possible to refer to an AlertDialog theme by using alertDialogTheme instead of alertDialogStyle in a custom theme. Newer Android versions also don't use AlertDialogs under all circumstances where older versions used them. Theme.Dialog is relatively new as far as I know. However, it would be interesting to know which Android version you're referring to (or are targeting at). It's easy to do this in an XML style once you figure that AlertDialogs have somewhat special attributes. So how can I change the background of these alert dialogs? The "alertDialogStyle" attribute and my "MyOpaqueAlertDialog" style don't seem to have any effect. These are my styles: applied the "MyOpaqueActivity" style successfully for whole activities (the window background is changed to "my_background"), but it doesn't work for alert dialogs within those activities. I'm trying to use an opaque background instead, very unsuccessfully. By default, these alert dialogs have a transparent background. I use the AlertDialog class in my application. Rocket League was praised for its gameplay improvements over Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle-Cars, as well as its graphics and overall presentation, although some criticism was directed towards the game's physics engine. Psyonix also recognized their lack of marketing from Battle-Cars and engaged in both social media and promotions to market the game, including offering the game for free for PlayStation Plus members on release. Psyonix began formal development of Rocket League around 2013, refining the gameplay from Battle-Cars to address criticism and fan input. Psyonix continued to support themselves through contract development work for other studios while looking to develop a sequel. Battle-Cars received mixed reviews and was not a success, but gained a loyal fan base. Rocket League is a sequel to Psyonix's Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, a 2008 video game for the PlayStation 3. Later updates for the game enabled the ability to modify core rules and added new game modes, including ones based on ice hockey and basketball. The game includes single-player and multiplayer modes that can be played both locally and online, including cross-platform play between all versions. The game went free-to-play in September 2020.ĭescribed as "soccer, but with rocket-powered cars", Rocket League has up to eight players assigned to each of the two teams, using rocket-powered vehicles to hit a ball into their opponent's goal and score points over the course of a match. In June 2016, 505 Games began distributing a physical retail version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with Warner Bros. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, with ports for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch being released later on. She shares this deeply real revelation fewer than five minutes into our Zoom call. “I’ve gotten hooked because I don’t really communicate how I feel inside,” Chloe tells me of her new hobby on a quiet mid-July morning in Los Angeles, her cute bubblegum-pink spaghetti-strap bodycon dress begging to be let out of the house, her locs swinging around her shoulders as she fills in a trippy-looking stag’s head. It’s their new wind-down activity-a way to tap into that inner-child energy they sing about staying connected to on Ungodly Hour’s ode to self-love, “Baby Girl.” The part of you that’s unjaded and hopeful. “Yes,” Halle replies without missing a beat or looking up from her coloring book. And while they’re moving through all that growth gracefully, “I’m so…am I on edge?” Chloe asks her sister. It’s Chloe x Halle’s all-grown-up offering after their adolescent 2018 debut, and it’s a proclamation to the world-a reintroduction, if you will-that Chloe, 22, and Halle, 20, are women now. That synergy is what elevates their most recent album, Ungodly Hour, above basically everything else. So singular, in fact, that when asked if they could be interviewed individually for this cover story, their publicist politely explained that no, “Chloe x Halle is one artist, together.” So you should know by now that when it comes to music, the sisters are a singular force. The chicken fray is punctuated by fights against boss enemies spanning up to three times the size of the screen. The enemy repertoire has been significantly broadened, introducing several different kinds of chickens which attack relentlessly in colorful groups and meticulously choreographed formations. Joined by an unlikely ally, players will travel to foreign, unexplored galaxies in an effort to locate and destroy the egg cannon before it reaches Earth. In this episode, the chickens have constructed a gigantic cannon capable of launching planet-scale eggs against Earth, with the ultimate goal of encrusting humanity in an impenetrable wall made of egg white. The game puts players at the forefront of a battle against invading intergalactic chickens, bent on revenge against the human race for our oppression of Earth chickens.
